An old paint colour system guide I just found, which dates back to when my parents wanted to paint the apartment in 1984. Some of the colour names include “Brussel Sprouts” green, “New Strawberry” pink, “Marshmallow Snow” white and “London Grey”.
With over 100 shades for each colour, and coming up with new names every year, one wonders how you could come up with so many original ones.
Almost 30 years later, their names have evolved into the likes of “No Win Situation” blue, “Guys Night” grey and “Bean Bag Toss” yellow……… really.
